Tapputi

While studying abroad in Lacoste, France I was given the task of creating a fictional business and designing the assets for said business. There had to be a logo, some sort of packaging and at least one printed document. I decided to create a perfume company.

I was inspired by the beautiful place that surrounded me and how incredible everything smelled. I wanted to capture all I was experiencing and take it home with me. For my perfume company, I decided that it would specialize in creating a luxurious and elegant atmosphere. The clients would be able to experience the art of creating their own while being pampered and receiving individualized attention. The scents would come from all over the world, but have unique scents that are only found throughout the beautiful place that is Provence, France. Because the clients where going to be the ones creating their own scents, the company was named Tapputi, after a Mesopotamian woman who was a chemist and created perfumes.
